Creating authentic products has always been Andrea Arici's desire. Hence the choice, more than courageous, to produce only and exclusively Franciacorta at Dosaggio Zero, where the terroir presents itself with transparency and honesty. Just as happens with this "Etichetta Nera" Colline della Stella, vintage with an expressive and incisive sip, where Pinot Nero announces itself with great personality, also thanks to aging for at least 40 months on the lees. A truly exquisite sparkling wine, which sip after sip helps us understand how Andrea Arici's choice is indeed the right one.
The Arici winery produces this Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero "Etichetta Nera" Colline della Stella starting from an international grape variety that, when sparkling, is able to provide great satisfaction: Pinot Nero. The grapes are cultivated within the crus of Forcella and Cascina Loda, at an altitude ranging from 150 to 300 meters above sea level, in vineyards characterized by a calcareous subsoil of pre-Alpine origin. After the first fermentation, the grapes are vinified following the principles of the Metodo Classico, refermenting a second time in the bottle, where they then remain on the lees for at least 40 months. At the end of the production process, no dosage syrup is added, to give us a highly territorial product.
The Dosaggio Zero "Etichetta Nera" Colline della Stella from the Arici winery presents itself to the visual examination with an intense and bright golden yellow color; the perlage is fine and exceedingly persistent. The olfactory spectrum develops on a mainly floral and fruity texture, enriched by hints of bread crust and yeasts. On the palate, it is broad-bodied, harmonious, fine, with a refreshing creamy sip. A label made by the Arici winery in just over a thousand bottles, from which the beauty of the Franciacorta terroir emerges: all that remains is to raise the glasses, to toast to the most joyful occasions!
