Meggiolaro's Garganega 'Sarò' is a dry, straightforward white wine made from grapes grown on the hills of Roncà on volcanic soils rich in basalt and tuff. It ferments spontaneously in steel and ages on fine lees with bâtonnage, seeking an artisanal but also pure and territorial interpretation of the grape variety. The nose reveals white flowers and yellow fruit, with intriguing hints of flint, while the palate is taut, dry and distinctly fresh. It is an everyday table wine that is anything but ordinary, suitable for fish dishes and vegetarian cuisine, such as herb risotto or baked trout
Bright straw yellow
Rounded hints of peach and lemon zest, yellow apple, flinty notes
Marked freshness opens up to a dry, clean and savoury taste
