GRAPPA TRADIZIONALE 'LA TRENTINA' MARZADRO DESCRIPTION

The Traditional Grappa "La Trentina" is a tribute that the Marzadro family wishes to pay to the land where, for several decades, they have been working and living. This label is indeed born from the pomace of some of the most typical grape varieties cultivated within the region, and it has been conceived to best express the elegance of the Trentino distillation tradition, which boasts centuries of history. A bottle with a dry sip, which caresses the palate with a harmonious drink, perfect for enlivening post-dinner conversations.

“La Trentina” Traditional Grappa is made from very fresh pomace – just think that it arrives still soaked in must at the distillery – from red grape varieties that feel particularly at home among the vineyards of Trentino; specifically, we are talking about Teroldego, Marzemino, and Merlot. The distillation process carried out by the Marzadro distillery takes place in a bain-marie, using a large copper still that operates following the principles of the discontinuous method. At the end of the production process, the The obtained Grappa is allowed to rest for a short time in steel, before finally being bottled and put on the market.

This Traditional Grappa “La Trentina” Marzadro appears to the eye as crystal clear and colorless, completely transparent. The olfactory spectrum moves on decisive and rich notes, where spices alternate with the typical herbs of the Dolomites and more fruity scents, reminiscent of the aroma of grapes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, balanced, with a particularly dry sip, endowed with a warm and concentrated soul, which continues even in the long finish. If during the cold winter evenings you do not know which distillate to serve at the table to conclude dinner, this Grappa “La Trentina” will lift you from indecision.
