Michele Satta's Grenache ‘Notte Marina’ is a red wine from the Livorno coast, a Mediterranean interpretation of a noble grape variety. Vinified in purity from whole bunches, it is aged in barriques and is slender and very aromatic. The nose reveals notes of red flowers, Mediterranean scrub and ripe berries with a spicy finish, while the palate is full and enveloping, supported by freshness and fine tannins. It pairs well with grilled meats and savoury first courses such as pappardelle with wild boar
Deep ruby red
Very floral, with violet and rosehip, hints of cherry and rosemary
Structured and full-bodied but with subtle tannins, very fresh
