Peter Sichel's Grenache 'Montanha' is a light red wine that aims to capture the essence of the fruit and mountains of Cucugnan. The thirty-year-old vines grow on clay-limestone soils, in a natural environment preserved without the use of chemicals. This is a low-extract wine, with short maceration and light body, aged in concrete to enhance the purity and drinkability of the Grenache. The nose reveals fresh strawberry and crisp red fruits. On the palate, it is smooth, refined, and full of fruit and juice. Ideal for aperitifs and informal dining, it pairs well with grilled vegetables and simple Mediterranean dishes such as ratatouille
