Peter Sichel's Grenache 'Terre Rouge' takes its name from the distinctive red clay soils. Young but well-rooted vines and careful vinification with indigenous yeasts produce a Grenache with structure and precision. Prolonged ageing in foudre contributes to a solid balance and significant ageing potential. The nose offers ripe red fruits and a slight toasted note, while the palate is full, voluminous, with well-integrated freshness and great length. It pairs well with stewed meats and traditional French cuisine, such as beef stew or spicy dishes
Deep ruby red with garnet reflections
Mature profile, rich in strawberry and cherry, with hints of roasted coffee and cocoa
Full-bodied, very fresh with tight tannins, very long finish
