LAMBRUSCO DI SORBARA 'DEL FONDATORE' RIFERMENTATO IN BOTTIGLIA CLETO C DESCRIPTION

Cleto Chiarli's "Del Fondatore" Lambrusco di Sorbara is a sparkling red wine that perfectly embodies the region's great tradition of producing pleasantly lively wines. It is made from the Sorbara variety of Lambrusco, which is considered the most elegant and refined of this ancient grape family. The wine is produced using the bottle refermentation method, without final disgorgement. It is a dry Lambrusco with rich and intensely fruity aromas, offering an exuberant palate with beautiful notes of red berries, complemented by delicate floral undertones.

The bottle refermented Lambrusco di Sorbara "Del Fondatore" is a sparkling red wine produced by one of the most illustrious names in Emilian winemaking. Cleto Chiarli had the great merit of believing in the potential of Lambrusco di Sorbara and the territory of Modena. Thanks to his passion and dedication, he was able to elevate Lambrusco to expressive levels that were difficult to imagine, creating labels that are highly sought after by all enthusiasts of fine wines. The estate covers about a hundred hectares in the Modena countryside, with plots in Castelvetro and Sozzigalli. His wines are the perfect synthesis of the artisanal tradition of the region and a modern approach that pays particular attention to all winemaking processes, resulting in wines of great finesse and elegance.

Cleto Chiarli's "Del Fondatore" Lambrusco is a label that reveals the extraordinary potential of a grape variety that is too often underestimated or oversimplified. The wine is produced with the finest clusters from the Sozzigalli Estate, located on rather rich, deep, and loamy soils. After the classic red vinification, bottle refermentation on the lees takes place. In the glass, it has a bright and brilliant light ruby red colour with a soft, intense pink foam. On the nose, it expresses scents of violet, rose petals, aromas of small wild berries, and fresh hints of blood orange. The palate is smooth, crisp, and savoury, with a dry finish of great freshness. It is recommended to pour the wine gently not to disturb the yeast sediment at the bottom of the bottle.
