Yuka & Clotaire Michal's 'Libre Pensée' is an elegant expression of Beaujolais, born from vines over 60 years old that embrace the rich pink granite soils. The winery works with used barrels and spontaneous fermentation. The nose releases aromas of sweet violet and ripe cherry, with sweet hints of chocolate. The palate is balanced and persistent, with silky tannins and an intense but elegant mineral freshness. Ideal with meat dishes, try it with 'paté en croute' or ‘coq au vin’
Deep ruby red
Blackberry and blueberry open to ripe cherry, dried violet, fresh hints of chocolate
Round but with fine tannins, juicy and vertical on the palate
