The Ludi is a red wine from Marche that arises from the desire to experiment, almost to "play" - hence the name given to the label - by the Velenosi winery. One must never forget the bond that unites wine, and its consumption, to the most pleasant and joyful occasions. Of course, to create a focused and flawless product, one must engage seriously, just as Velenosi has done, creating a blend with a strong character, where an expressive and incisive sip dominates, accompanied by warm aromas that embrace the nose with a generous hug. A bottle that will leave you speechless.
This Ludi branded Velenosi is born from a blend where, alongside Montepulciano, present in the final cut with 85%, we also find two international grape varieties that are strongly complementary to each other: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The plants of these varieties grow with the spurred cordon system, in soils located 200-250 meters above sea level, sinking their roots into a predominantly clayey and calcareous subsoil. The grapes, once harvested, macerate for 28 days, fermenting in steel containers. We then proceed with the aging phase, carried out in new barriques for a period of at least 18 months, after which we proceed with blending, bottling, and commercialization.
The red wine Ludi from the Velenosi winery presents itself visually with a color reminiscent of ruby, concentrated and deep. The aromas that envelop the nose lean towards fruity notes, enriched by touches of graphite and more balsamic nuances. On the palate, it has excellent body, energetic, with a full and round sip, well balanced. A label that receives unanimous acclaim from all the major Italian industry guides.
