MANFREDI BIANCO TERRE DEGLI SVEVI - RE MANFREDI 2024 DESCRIPTION

The Manfredi Bianco is a Lucanian wine that surprises for two reasons. The first is undoubtedly represented by the great aromaticity that is felt from the very first sips. The second, indirectly related to the first, concerns the choice of grape varieties used to create this label, Müller Thurgau and Traminer Aromatico, two typically northern varieties, which the winery Terre degli Svevi - Re Manfredi has decided to cultivate in Basilicata. Here, the climate indeed results in significant temperature variations between day and night, further enhancing the aromatic components of these international grapes. A bottle that attracts and captivates the palate of the most discerning consumers.

This Manfredi Bianco is born from a blend where, alongside a significant percentage of Müller Thurgau, we also find 30% of Traminer aromatico. These two varieties are cultivated in vineyards located at the foothills of Vulture, and grow using the guyot system, rooting in a volcanic subsoil. Once harvested and brought to the winemaking facilities of the Terreof Svevi - Re Manfredi, the grapes are cryomacerated for 24 hours, then fermented in steel at controlled temperature. We then proceed with the aging phase, in which the wine rests on the fine lees in steel for two months, until the bottling operations begin.

The Manfredi Bianco Terre degli Svevi appears in the glass with a straw yellow color, characterized by light reflections tending towards gold at the rim. The aromatic bouquet that unfolds on the nose tells of complex sensations, where yellow fruit alternates with decidedly more floral notes. On the palate, it is light-bodied, flavorful and tasty, with a pleasantly fresh sip, from which a slight sweet touch emerges. A label to try, which intrigues for its excellent aromaticity.

When to drink
Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar
Glass
Medium open goblet
Perfect for young and medium bodied white wines which don't require excessive oxygenation to open. The opening, slightly tighter than the body of the glass, favors the concentration of aromas towards the nose, enhancing the perception of aromas and limiting the dispersion
