Jérôme Galeyrand's Marsannay Blanc 'Les Champs Perdrix' is a precise and measured Burgundy white, produced fresh in an area famous for its reds. Oak ageing with a limited amount of new wood accompanies a classic, taut and unobtrusive style. The nose offers ripe apple, citrus and light floral notes, with subtle and pleasant hints of vanilla that reveal the passage in new wood. On the palate, it is linear, fresh and harmonious, but with a round mouthfeel and a long, savoury finish. It pairs well with fish and white meats, such as trout with butter or roast chicken
Light golden yellow
Ripe fruit such as lemon and apple, slight hints of apricot and a subtle vanilla finish
Round and full-bodied, with a distinct freshness and savoury finish
