Maison Lou Dumont's Marsannay is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the estate's own vineyards, cultivated using organic methods. The soil is worked with the help of horses to preserve its structure and avoid excessive compaction. In the cellar, vinification is carried out partly with whole bunches, a choice that helps to give the wine greater structure and complexity. The bouquet is broad and expressive, with hints of red fruit, spicy and toasted notes and charming hints of undergrowth, reminiscent of moss. On the palate, it is juicy and enveloping, supported by elegant and harmonious tannins. Excellent paired with filet mignon accompanied by a red fruit sauce
Bright ruby red
Notes of raspberry and plum, spicy hints of cloves, toasted hints of tobacco and earthy notes on the finish
Soft and full-bodied, fresh and rounded, with finely chiselled, well-integrated tannins
