Maison Lou Dumont's Meursault comes from one of the most renowned villages for Chardonnay production in the Côte de Beaune. The richness of this terroir lies in its ancient soils, characterised by a mixture of marl, limestone and clay. The vineyards face east and receive all the brightness of the morning sun. The bouquet is rich and varied, with hints of white peach and citrus notes, enriched with hints of toasted dried fruit, hints of honey and delicate accents of salted butter. On the palate, the wine is soft and silky, but retains a vivid freshness, with a salty finish that makes it magnetic and engaging. Perfect with mature cheeses or trout with butter and lemon
Straw yellow with golden reflections
Hints of white peach and grapefruit zest, notes of sage and thyme, hints of toasted hazelnut and honey, lactic notes on the finish
Velvety and enveloping, yet fresh and savoury with a very persistent finish
