Casachiara's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a red wine from the Teramo hills, vinified with long maceration and spontaneous fermentation, without added sulphites. Prolonged ageing in steel and bottle results in a juicy and fresh profile. The nose reveals dark fruit, with subtle spices and hints of iron and herbs on the finish. The palate is compact, dry and progressive, with great tension and roundness. Ideal with red meat and game, to be paired with roast lamb
Deep ruby red with violet reflections
Hints of plum and blackberry, accents of pepper
Compact, with noticeable tannins, progressive sip towards great warmth
