Fontefico's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva 'Titinge' is an intense and deep red wine. This Riserva comes from an old Montepulciano vineyard planted in 1970. The long ageing process, first in steel and then in wood, elevates the grape variety and gives us a complex wine with great personality. The nose offers hints of dark fruit jam and fruit preserved in alcohol, with a balsamic note and a bitter cocoa bean finish. On the palate, it is enveloping and smooth, with a marked but pleasant tannic presence. Pair with rack of lamb or braised meat
Impenetrable ruby red
Notes of cherry jam, ripe plum, delicate hints of mint and a finish with accents of cocoa and cloves
Soft, warm and rounded with remarkable structure and strong tannins
