Luca Marenco's Nascetta ‘Nas-cëtta’ comes from the hills of Novello and is the result of a precious native grape variety rediscovered in the 1990s. Vinified and aged for six months in steel, it expresses a genuine side of the Langhe in white. The nose reveals white flowers and ripe pear, with hints of citrus and wet stone. The palate is fresh and round, with a savoury and delicate finish. Perfect with fish dishes or seasonal vegetables, it pairs beautifully with trout with herbs
Straw yellow with slight golden reflections
Attack with white flowers such as jasmine and hawthorn, then ripe pear and lemon
Very smooth but fresh, with good flavour and a persistent mineral finish
