Castello Monaci's Negroamaro 'Maru' is one of the winery's historic wines, created to express the identity of Salento's Negroamaro. The grapes, grown on clay and limestone soils, rest briefly in barriques. Notes of eucalyptus, black fruits and Mediterranean scrub emerge on the nose. The taste is round, mineral and velvety, with a typically bitter finish. Excellent with stewed red meats, legumes and traditional Salento pasta dishes
Not available

Black fruits such as blueberries and blackberries, then balsamic hints of eucalyptus, lavender and tobacco on the finish
