NEKAJ DAMIJAN PODVERSIC 2021 DESCRIPTION

The Tocai Friulano "Nekaj" by Podversic is another example of the talent and the class of Damijan Podversic, the favorite pupil of Josko Gravner; Damijan began as a young man to take care of wine and he did a fantastic teacher, Josko. The vineyards are situated on the wooded slopes of Monte Calvario, near Gorizia, in an environment magical and absolutely pristine, ideal for growing grapes healthy and rich in taste. The Organic viticulture is a mantra for Damijan Podversic who spends much of his time to make sure that you do not alter in any way the balance and health of plants and nature. The Tocai Friulano "Nekaj" is another example of a unique wine that is fermented on the skins with no use of selected yeasts and that is put on the market only when the currency Damijan as ready for tasting. Friulano in purity, the Nekaj by Podversic is a complex and elegant white wine, which tells the history of wine and thinking about the future going to rediscover and spread the past. The scent that is able to offer you a world apart: austere, heady, full bodied, citrus alternates with hazelnuts, quince with hints of herbs. Deep, intense, with a sweetness that beautifully blends the flavor. All of this is the Nekaj of Damijan Podversic.
