Nobile di Montepulciano 'Late Release' Avignonesi 2015 (Packaging)

Avignonesi's Nobile di Montepulciano 'Late Release' is the result of an artistic project by Carlo Stanga that celebrates Tuscan roots. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes and aged for 18 months in wood, it remains in the bottle for several years to achieve a balance of great value. The nose reveals black cherry, plum and delicate notes of tobacco and thyme, while the palate is soft, round and pleasantly harmonious. Ideal with red meats such as a rib-eye-steaks

NOBILE DI MONTEPULCIANO 'LATE RELEASE' AVIGNONESI 2015 (PACKAGING) DESCRIPTION

The Nobile di Montepulciano "Late Release" is the result of a collaboration between Avignonesi and Bonvini 1909, a historic Milanese printing company. Today, this company is a creative studio that preserves historic machinery and a human heritage of craftsmen, illustrators and designers. Bonvini represents important artists such as Carlo Stanga, the author of the illustration dedicated to this limited edition. Stanga interprets Le Capezzine, Avignonesi's farm, as a landscape between fantasy and memory: a large vine rises in the centre of the scene, a narrative tree that intertwines architecture, animals and symbols of rural culture, evoking the deep soul of the estate.

The "Late Release" Nobile di Montepulciano Avignonesi is produced at the historic Le Capezzine estate, a mosaic of fields, olive groves and vineyards that have been cultivated for generations using an approach that prioritises biodiversity, agronomic research and respect for the land. The Sangiovese grapes ferment for a long time with indigenous yeasts before undergoing a complex ageing process using barriques, tonneaux and large barrels. Finally, the wine rests in the bottle for almost 10 years, a pause that gives it great depth and the flavour of time, allowing it to express its personality.

In the glass, Avignonesi Nobile di Montepulciano "Late Release" reveals a bright garnet red colour. The bouquet is rich, with intense notes of red plums, pomegranate, vineyard peaches, sweet spices and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is full and harmonious, supported by silky, perfectly ripe tannins. A Sangiovese as elegant as the more mature versions can be, with a warm, enveloping flavour that leads to a long, juicy finish with balsamic notes. A red wine that combines history, territory and creative power in a narrative, the story of the encounter between art, history and wine.
