Leza García's 'Orange' is a complex macerated wine from the Rioja region. Contact with the skins lasts throughout fermentation and then continues for another 4 months. Part of the wine is aged in wood to achieve greater softness and structure, while the other part remains in steel to maintain the fragrance of the fruit. The nose opens with hints of apricot and candied peach, accompanied by delicate notes of aromatic herbs and hints of vanilla on the finish. On the palate, it is smooth with defined tannins, balanced freshness and a long, salty finish. Perfect as an aperitif, paired with fresh cheeses, or with fish dishes such as grilled prawns with citrus and olive oil
Delicate amber
Hints of apricot, grapefruit peel and aromatic herbs such as thyme and oregano, with delicate hints of vanilla on the finish
Fresh and rounded, with enveloping tannins and a savoury finish
