La Poiesa's Ortrugo 'Burbero' is an agile and direct wine, a fresh expression of this native Emilian grape variety. The project stems from the desire to restore dignity to an often underrated grape variety, which lends itself well to ancestral refermentation, a method that is very popular and traditional in the hills of Piacenza. The nose is rustic, rich in fruity aromas and subtle hints of yeast. On the palate, it is enthralling, lively but smooth. It pairs well with cold cuts and simple cuisine, such as a savoury herb pie
Hazy straw yellow, fine mousse
Rustic, with baked apple, broom and jasmine, yeasty notes and white peach
Dry, direct but juicy, smooth and energetic
