Fanny Sabre's Pernand Vergelesses is a Pinot Noir of great finesse, made from grapes grown in the commune that gives the appellation its name. The vineyard is located at the foot of the Corton hill, between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. Both fermentation and ageing take place in wooden barrels, giving complexity to the nose and softness to the palate. The bouquet is broad with hints of dark fruit, earthy notes and toasted hints of bitter cocoa. The palate is full and enveloping, with silky tannins, delicate freshness and a very long finish. Perfect with mature French cheeses or the classic Coq au vin
Rosso rubino intenso
Complex, with fruity notes of plum and cassis, hints of undergrowth and liquorice, roasted cocoa notes on the finish
Deep and rich, velvety, very persistent with fine, well-integrated tannins
