Muller Koeberlé's Pet-Nat is a semi-sparkling, fresh and vertical Alsatian white wine. It is produced at an altitude of 250 metres on granite soils, with south-facing vineyards and a low yield per hectare. The Riesling base undergoes its first alcoholic fermentation in steel and is refermented in the bottle with Pinot Gris must from the previous year, a choice that defines its personality and character. The nose reveals hints of citrus and white flowers, with hints of flint typical of the variety. The palate is taut, supported by a crisp freshness and persistent effervescence, with a slightly savoury finish. It pairs perfectly with Alsatian choucroute, a typical dish made with pork sausage and sauerkraut
Delicate amber colour with a persistent head
Notes of apricot and white peach, hints of grapefruit peel, floral hints of hawthorn, light hints of flint on the finish
Smooth and easy to drink, with lively freshness and a distinct, persistent effervescence
