The sparkling white 'Welschriesling x Sämling' from NeueHeimat is a semi-sweet wine made from South Styrian grape varieties. Spontaneous fermentation was interrupted to preserve a moderate residual sugar content, which enhances the aromatic character. The sweetness accompanies olfactory notes of elderflower, white peach and ripe apricot, with subtle hints of ginger. In the mouth it is soft, velvety and pleasantly sweet, subtle and balanced by great freshness. Excellent with apple strudel
