Casa Setaro's Piedirosso 'Fuocoallegro' is made from red grapes grown in the heart of the Vesuvius National Park. After a brief cryomaceration to extract the maximum aroma, it is aged in amphorae and large oak barrels for 12 months, a unique maturation process. The nose reveals geraniums and ripe red berries, with hints of tobacco and sweet spices. On the palate, it is round, balanced and velvety. Perfect with white meats and typical Campania dishes, it pairs beautifully with Ischia-style rabbit
