Pinot Bianco Schiopetto 2023

The Pinot Bianco from Schiopetto is a white wine in which the starting variety perfectly adapts to the hilly profiles of Collio. The small and compact bunches of Pinot Bianco indeed reach perfect ripeness, and are carefully selected by the winery team during the destemming operations. The attention to detail leads to the creation of a label where the nose and palate align coherently, telling the story of a white wine where personality and character abound thanks to a warm, full-bodied sip. The wine Pinot Bianco Schiopetto comes from hilly vineyards located in the DOC of Collio. We find ourselves in particularly ventilated parcels, in a marly terroir, where the yields between the rows never exceed fifty quintals per hectare. The grapes are gently pressed, and the obtained must undergoes static decantation. The fermentation then continues in steel containers with the inoculation of a pied de cuve at controlled temperature. The production process concludes with the aging phase, in which the wine remains to age in steel for a total of 9 months.

Schiopetto Pinot Bianco presents itself visually with a bright straw yellow color, crossed by some more golden streaks, especially evident at the rim. The nose is concentrated, characterized by mainly fruity notes, enriched by floral hints and more spicy touches on the finish. The entry on the palate is rich, where Pinot Bianco asserts itself with a firm structure, characterized by a nice savory imprint and a sip with excellent persistence.
