The Pinot Bianco from the Tramin winery is the result of the combination between the innate finesse of the grape variety and the mineral character of the soil. The Tramin winery is located in Termeno, in Alto Adige. It is influenced by the fresh alpine breeze coming from the surrounding hills and the Mediterranean climate. It is a white wine of chiseled finesse and sharp minerality, which reveals a refined soul in the glass capable of evolving over time.
This wine from Tramin is a pure Pinot Bianco. It comes from vineyards located at an altitude between 450 and 600 meters above sea level, in the hilly area of Sella. Here the soils are of a calcareous type, characterized by a clayey and gravelly composition. The significant temperature excursions between day and night strongly contribute to determining the finesse of the grapes. During the harvest, the grapes are collected and transported to the winery, where they are gently pressed and the obtained must is placed to ferment at controlled temperature. It follows a refinement in steel containers for a few months, without having previously undergone malolactic fermentation.
The Tramin Pinot Bianco has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Its aroma plays on fruity tones of white peach and citrus, set against a herbaceous background of aromatic herbs. The sip confirms the personality focused on freshness and on the savory assertion, balanced by a full body and an overall finesse. The acidic shoulder and structure create excellent conditions for allowing the Pinot Bianco “Moriz” to evolve over time and continually amaze with its elegant character.
