The Pinot Grigio "Aristos" from Cantina Valle Isarco is a mountain white with a distinctly elegant character, featuring apple and pear pulp at the forefront, which, thanks to fermentation in large barrels, is enriched with more evolved and fragrant aromas. The entry on the palate is lively and slender, characterized by good body, salty peaks, and an enveloping aromatic finish
The Pinot Grigio "Aristos" from Cantina Valle Isarco is a white wine intense, aromatically rich and fruity. The label represents very well the varietal characteristics of this grape, which in recent years has been achieving extraordinary success, especially in foreign markets. It is a wine that combines the typical mineral freshness of the terroir with the riper, softer and rounder notes of this particular clone of Pinot, also enhanced by a partial vinification in wood.
The Pinot Grigio "Aristos" from Cantina Valle Isarco is a very interesting interpretation, born from a careful selection of grapes from the best vineyards in the area located in the municipalities of Varna, Bressanone, Funes/Tiso, Velturno, Chiusa, Laion, Castelrotto, Villandro, Barbiano, Fié and Renon. The cool and breezy climate and the significant temperature variations between day and night contribute to producing very balanced grapes, rich in aromatic qualities, yet able to maintain freshness even at full ripeness. The yields low, typical of the "Aristos" line, contribute to producing grapes of consistently high quality, a fundamental prerequisite for making a great wine. The Pinot Grigio vineyards are located at an altitude of about 550-650 meters, on predominantly clayey soils, quite rich and deep. The soft pressing is preceded by a short cold maceration period. The fermentation takes place half in large oak barrels and half in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures on its lees for about 7 months in steel tanks.
The white Pinot Grigio "Aristos" from Cantina Valle Isarco is an interpretation of qualitative excellence of this important variety, too often trivialized with low-level wines. It is a perfect label for those who wish to discover the true face of Pinot Grigio in its highest expression. The color is straw yellow with golden reflections. On the nose, it expresses a wide and complex bouquet, with aromas of pear, green apple, tropical fruit, floral nuances and delicately spiced. The sip is rich and harmonious, with a juicy and dense mid-palate, which unfolds towards a finish of balanced freshness and good taste persistence.
