Sophie Schaal's Pinot Gris is an intense and enveloping wine, produced from grapes grown on the clay soils of the Upper Rhine. Fermentation in oak barrels adds complexity and smoothness. The nose is fresh with fragrant hints of freshly picked fruit and spicy notes of cloves and cinnamon. The palate is full and velvety, harmonious with a long and persistent finish. Excellent with structured white meats such as roast pork in stewed pear sauce
Bright straw yellow
Fresh notes of pear and quince, spicy hints of cinnamon and cloves
Round and smooth, with a subtle freshness and a lingering finish
