Meggiolaro's Semi-sparkling Pinot Noir Rosé 'Sofi' is volcanic in both origin and energy. The grapes come from young vines and are processed by soft pressing of whole bunches, then refermented in the bottle with dried Garganega must to restart fermentation. The nose reveals small red fruits, citrus fruits and a very fresh hint of iodine, while the palate is fresh and taut, graceful but vibrant with energy. It is a wine suitable for aperitifs and light cuisine, ideal with cold cuts and vegetable dishes such as onion focaccia.
Bright pale pink, slightly veiled
Fresh hints of strawberry, pomegranate, orange peel and slight hints of iodine
Dry and slender, with lively freshness and a graceful sip
