Marc Tempé's Pinot Noir 'AmZelle' is a gem that proves that even in the north, you can find intense reds with personality. The vines planted on the typical Lias soil are cultivated using biodynamic methods, and the grapes undergo a very extractive process for a Pinot: 5 weeks of maceration followed by a long ageing period. The nose reveals elegant aromas of red and black fruits, toasted notes and a slightly reductive character that opens up with air, with salty and spicy accents on the finish. Generous on the palate, with a very pleasant richness on the palate, all supported by firm tannins and great sapidity. Perfect with game such as venison salmi or a venison terrine, this is a wine that can age for a very long time in the cellar
Light ruby red with garnet reflections
Intensely fruity, with cherry and raspberry, followed by blackberry, toasted notes of cinnamon and liquorice
Intense and juicy, with great structure but velvety and distinctly refined, with an exuberant minerality
