Cellier Saint Benoit's Pinot Noir "Courbes Raies" is a fine, territorial red, a Pinot Noir that plays more on tension than volume, a profile made possible by the terroir of origin and the skilled hand of Benjamin Benoit, a celebrated oenologist from the Jura region. The nose is subtle and fresh, with hints of light fruit that evolve into mushroom, spice and undergrowth, an elegant and 'Burgundian' profile without, however, fading into imitation. On the palate, it is smooth and subtle but, with a little patience, it evolves in the glass towards surprising complexity
Dull ruby red
Very fragrant, with violet, cherry and raspberry, undergrowth and a finish with mushroom, smoke and cardamom
Very fresh, with a dynamic and graceful taste, very savoury on the finish
