The Pinot Noir 'Perigée' from Vignoble des 2 Lunes is a dry, structured Alsatian red produced according to biodynamic principles. Grown on granite soils in Walbach, this wine is aged for 12 months in barrels to round out the already concentrated and rich fruit. The nose has an animal profile, with leather balanced by dark aromas of black cherry and liquorice. On the palate, it is silky, rustic and very smooth, with good body and balance. It pairs beautifully with red meat and game, and is worth trying with spicy dishes such as Peking duck
