Nicolas Potel's Pommard comes from a village renowned for the structure it gives to its red wines. Deep and tightly tannic, it opens on the nose with cherry and raspberry, followed by hints of dried violets and delicate oriental spices. On the palate, it shows body, warmth and smooth tannins, leading to a finish of great finesse. It pairs beautifully with game and red meats, and is ideal with beef fillet in red wine sauce
