It is a quality bottle that embodies one of the highest peaks not only of the entire range of an important winery like Val d’Oca but also of the entire denomination. A label where the fresh sip conquers the palate, and where the array of floral and fruity aromas is nothing short of inviting thanks to a linear and orderly structure. Among its many virtues, it also has the quality of being extremely versatile in the gastronomic field, pairing well with various recipes and preparations.
This “Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza” is a Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut that comes from the pure use of the grape symbol of the entire denomination, the Glera. The vines of this variety grow within the gentle hills of the cru of San Pietro di Borbozza and are tended with care and attention by the team at the Val d’Oca winery. The grapes, after harvesting, ferment in steel, and then re-ferment in autoclave, following the production principles of the Martinotti Method. At the end of the processing, the wine is ready to be bottled.
The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut “Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza” presents itself visually with a light straw yellow color, crossed by a fine and persistent perlage. The aromas that envelop the nose focus mainly on flowers and fruit, also enriched by a slight vegetal touch of fern. On the palate, it is light-bodied, refreshing, soft, with a saline sip, harmonious and balanced. A sparkling wine with which the Val D’oca winery confirms itself as one of the most important realities regarding the production of quality Prosecco in Veneto.
