Thomas Rivier's Régnié 'Tomix' is an imaginative red that perfectly embodies the character of its producer, a determined and skilled craftsman, attached to his land and in particular to the Régnié appellation in Beaujolais. The ripe and concentrated Gamay grapes are vinified in concrete tanks to accentuate the fruit and freshness. The nose opens with fragrances of crisp red berries and delicate hints of earthy minerals, while the palate reveals a subtle, smooth texture with a fresh, subtly tannic finish. It is ideal with traditional French charcuterie or delicate white meats such as chicken fricassee
