RIESLING 'ARISTOS' CANTINA VALLE ISARCO 2023 DESCRIPTION

The Riesling "Aristos" from Cantina Valle Isarco is a fragrant white wine, with delicate fruit and slightly aromatic, characterized by a vibrant freshness. The noble grape variety from Northern Europe, which in the Moselle area produces some of the most fascinating whites in the world, has found a perfect habitat for its needs in Valle Isarco. The vineyards cultivated at altitude, the cold climate, and the stony soils allow this ancient variety to express itself at excellent quality levels.

The Riesling "Aristos" is part of the high-end selection of Cantina Valle Isarco, which in recent years has decisively focused on this extraordinary grape variety, achieving very positive results right from the start. The particular microclimate of the valley, with warm sunny days and very cold nights, allows the grapes to ripen very slowly, developing intense aromas and fragrances. The soils are quite varied from a mineralogical point of view, consisting of granites, quartz, and diorites, but they share the origin of rock disintegration and a typically stony connotation. The components pedoclimatic factors have proven ideal for the cultivation of white grape varieties, especially those from Northern European regions. The label "Aristos" comes from a selection of the best parcels, managed by Cantina Valle Isarco with low yields, to achieve maximum quality and varietal typicity. The Riesling vineyards are cultivated at a height between 600 and 800 meters, on alluvial soils rich in skeleton and shallow. After a brief cold maceration in contact with the skins, the grapes are gently pressed and fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine matures on its own lees in steel tanks for 7 months before bottling.

The Riesling "Aristos" from Cantina Valle Isarco is a white wine with a refined and elegant profile, already very pleasant to taste right away, but has a remarkable aging potential. Only after a few years in the bottle will it be able to express full maturity, developing the characteristic nuances of
