RIESLING GRUBER ROSCHITZ 2025 DESCRIPTION

The Riesling is an Austrian white wine that, in the interpretation provided by the Gruber Roschitz winery, stands out for its remarkable drinkability. Both the nose and palate are built on clear and straightforward aromas and flavors, highlighting a vibrant minerality, making each sip almost an automatic gesture, especially considering the moderate alcohol content in the wine that facilitates its smoothness. A lively bottle also at the table, pairing well with both "Japanese" dinners based on sushi and sashimi, and with first and second courses where seafood and shellfish are the main ingredients. Try it and you won't regret it!

This Riesling is produced by the Gruber Roschitz winery from their owned vineyards located in Roschitz, at an altitude above sea level ranging from 250 to 360 meters. We find ourselves in a terroir characterized by a rocky subsoil, where the presence of loess deposits is noticeable. The must obtained from pressing the grapes ferments in steel containers for a total of 10 hours and, always in steel, the wine then remains to mature for a few months, until it is deemed ready for bottling operations.

The Riesling signed by the Gruber Roschitz winery presents itself visually with a bright straw yellow color. The olfactory spectrum revolves around fruity notes, enriched by sensations that range from honey, highlighting a certain sweetness, to mineral. On the palate, it is light-bodied, slim and dynamic, with a sip that flows pleasantly across the palate thanks to a savory and fruity vein. A bottle that allows you to connect with the quintessential white grape variety cultivated in Austria, also characterized by a quality-price ratio that makes it even more interesting.

When to drink
Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar
Glass
Medium open goblet
Perfect for young and medium bodied white wines which don't require excessive oxygenation to open. The opening, slightly tighter than the body of the glass, favors the concentration of aromas towards the nose, enhancing the perception of aromas and limiting the dispersion
