Samuele Bosco's Roero Rosso is a rigorous Nebbiolo, a full interpretation of the sandy soils of Priocca. A territorial and linear red wine, it is the result of long maceration and subsequent vinification in steel, while ageing takes place in cement and large oak barrels. The nose opens with intense hints of dried flowers, which evolve towards cherry and a spicy finish. On the palate, it is dry, taut and persistent, with a fine mouthfeel and a long finish. It pairs naturally with braised beef
Bright garnet red with orange reflections
Intense dried flowers such as rose and violet, red fruits such as cherry, and delicate hints of cocoa and cinnamon
Dry and very tannic, with marked freshness and a persuasive progression
