Rosato 'Furia' Tormaresca-Antinori 2025

The Rosé "Furia" from the Tormaresca Antinori winery is a fresh and lively Apulian wine that pairs well with fresh and delicate dishes or white meats. It is made with a blend of Negroamaro, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah harvested in Salento and aged entirely in steel for a few months. The bright pale rosé color resembles cherry blossoms, and the aromas released, in addition to fresh summer fruit, evoke notes of orange blossom and jasmine. The sip is fresh, agile, savory, mineral, and has a slightly citrus finish.

ROSATO 'FURIA' TORMARESCA-ANTINORI 2025 DESCRIPTION

The Rosato “Furia” by Tormaresca-Antinori is a label that expresses all the Mediterranean and sunny character of the great rosés of the best Apulian tradition. Salento is one of the Italian regions most suited for the production of this type of wine, increasingly appreciated in international markets. The presence of a grape variety particularly suitable for rosé winemaking like Negroamaro and optimal vineyard and harvest management to obtain grapes with elegant aromas allow for the creation of a fresh and refined wine, particularly suitable to pair with seafood salads, shrimp, scampi, first courses with shellfish, and seafood stews.

The “Furia” is a Rosato from Tormaresca-Antinori that is based on Negroamaro, the red grape variety typical of the great rosés of Salento, enhanced by the international touch of two famous French varieties, the Bordeaux Cabernet Franc and the Syrah from the Rhône Valley. The vineyards are cultivated in the heart of Salento, in an area with a warm and dry climate, but always well-ventilated thanks to the presence of the breezes from the sea. The grapes are pressed very gently with a short contact with the skins, in order to leave a minimum of color and the most delicate aromas, without traces of tannins. The must is sent for white winemaking with fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine matures for a few months in steel tanks, in order to preserve the fragrant freshness of the varietal aromas.

The Rosé “Furia”, produced at the Tormaresca-Antinori estate, is the most typical expression of the great Apulian tradition, revisited with an eye towards the essential models of Provence. While maintaining a typically territorial face, it is a wine characterized by delicate winemaking, aimed at enhancing especially the freshness and aromatic delicacy. To the eye, it presents a beautiful pale pink color, very bright with brilliant reflections. The olfactory profile is characterized by delicate aromas of cherry, red currant, raspberry, wild strawberries, fragrant aromas of citrus, pink grapefruit, hints of soft exotic fruit, floral nuances of orange blossom, jasmine, rose petal, and iodized memories. On the palate, it is harmonious, with ripe and crunchy fruit, making the sip creamy and satisfying. The finish is pleasantly savory, fresh, and mineral.
