Rosé 'Memoro' Piccini

The important family-run Piccini winery presents the Rosé 'Memoro', a bottle that stands out for its balance and fragrance, produced by blending wines of different grape varieties from various Italian regions. The 'Memoro' selection, which in addition to this rosé wine also includes a white and a red, effectively expresses the innovative vision of the Piccini family, which has been involved in the wine business for five generations, always guided by a modern entrepreneurial spirit. In particular, with the Rosé 'Memoro', the Piccini want to show the aptitude of Italy for the production of great rosé wines.

Memoro' Piccini Rosato is produced through a combination of different black grape varieties grown in various regions of Italy. Each variety is vinified separately through a brief maceration on the skins, which is essential to obtain the characteristic rosé colour. The must is then subjected to alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks in order to enhance the wine's aromas. A blend of the different wines is then made before final bottling.

To the eye, Piccini's Rosato 'Memoro' expresses an intense salmon-pink colour. The aromatic spectrum is described by scents of red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, cherry and redcurrant, as well as floral hints and slight hints of mint. Clear and direct on the palate, with good freshness and a pleasant savoury timbre anticipating the graceful and balanced finish, characterised by fruity tones consistent with the notes previously perceived on the nose. Thanks to its refreshing and balanced taste, this rosé wine is ideal as a convivial aperitif.
