The Rosé de Provence “By Ott” perfectly embodies the style of Provençal wines. Grenache, the variety that leads the final blend along with Syrah and Cinsault, is indeed one of the most representative grape varieties of this part of France, clearly identifying the link with the territory. In this rosé version signed by Domaines Ott, the soul of the drink is convivial, and it lends itself well, thanks to the subtle fruity aromas on the nose, to being enjoyed both throughout the meal and during the more elegant aperitifs.
This “By. Ott” Rosé de Provence originates from a blend where, in addition to 75% Grenache, we also find 25% Syrah and Cinsault. Each variety is cultivated with principles that follow the criteria of organic and biodynamic agriculture, thus paying great attention to the territory and the environment surrounding the vineyards, eliminating chemical fertilizers and synthetic products in the vineyard. After harvesting, the grapes are carefully destemmed and the berries are pressed. The obtained must ferments in steel and it remains in these containers to stabilize for a few months, until Domaines Ott begins the bottling procedures.
The Rosé “By.Ott” presents itself visually with a cerasuolo pink color, decidedly light and not too intense. The aromas that envelop and surround the nose are delicate and move through a progression of substantially fruity notes, where apricot and peach emerge clearly. On the palate, it is light-bodied, crisp, characterized by a full and fresh sip, where the fruity aromas already perceived during the olfactory examination resonate. When it comes to rosé, the terroir of Provence is second to none, and Domaines Ott is one of the most authoritative names in the entire area: a bottle, therefore, that is always a safe choice!
