Rosso di Montalcino is a classic of Castello Banfi, produced since 1982 according to tradition. The Sangiovese grapes that make up the wine are harvested from various vineyards in the area, then the wine matures partly in large casks and partly in barriques, a process that aims to restore all its complexity and potential structure. Black and red fruits meet liquorice and tobacco on the nose, while the palate reveals ample, concentrated and harmonious structure, with beautiful persistence. Perfect with game and medium-aged cheeses
