'Roz' Zidarich

Roz from the Zidarich winery is an intense and elegant red wine. Beniamino Zidarich is one of the most important producers in the Karst region and, when he started making wine in the 1980s, he abolished all chemical interventions, both in the winery and in the vineyard. For black grape varieties, he mainly works with indigenous varieties such as Terrano and Refosco, alongside Merlot, which is also very common in the area between Friuli and Slovenia. The nose opens with fragrant hints of wild berries, spicy notes of cloves and hints of undergrowth on the finish. On the palate, it is full and velvety, enveloping, with soft tannins and a lively freshness. Perfect with pigeon agnolotti with roast sauce
