Montalbera's Ruchè Riserva 'Franco Morando' is a structured, intense red wine with a strong territorial identity, an aromatic native variety on which this winery focuses heavily. It is aged for 18 months in heavily toasted first-use oak barrels, then rests in the bottle for at least 24 months: time and trust given to great red wines for ageing. And this Riserva is astonishing: on the nose, it expresses the typical aromas of Ruchè, with red fruits and rosehip evolving into toasted notes. On the palate, it is persistent, with a silky texture and powdery tannins, supported by intense freshness. Excellent with mild meat dishes or truffle dishes
Deep ruby red with garnet reflections
Profondo, con frutta scura fresca come mirtillo, tipici fiori di rosa canina, note di cioccolato fondente e cuoio
Very fresh, structured, silky and balanced between warmth and tannins
