Hervé Souhaut's Saint Joseph White 'L'Etrati' is a fine white wine made from Roussanne, one of the princely vines of the Northern Rhône. Hervé is a great supporter of ecological agriculture, working biodynamically and with an artisanal approach, in the cellar he prefers zero sulphites and long ageing. This white is very drinkable, yet complex and elegant, with hints of flowers and white fruit accompanied by intriguing hints of wax. The palate is striking for its texture, round and savoury, and the length of the sip
Luminous golden yellow
Intriguing attack with beeswax, then orange blossom, lemon and hints of quince and peach
Round, silky and with good texture, solid flavour and fresh finish
