The Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore “Tre Rocche” is a medium-structured red wine, aged in large barrels, that directly and genuinely expresses the best characteristics of this great red grape variety, cultivated for centuries in Romagna and particularly in the area of Predappio. A wine with intense aromas, featuring a fragrant, fruity profile and a juicy sip, making it particularly pleasant to drink. A perfect label to bring to the table, paired with the flavorful and rich dishes of the local cuisine.

The Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore “Tre Rocche” is produced by the Nicolucci farm, one of the historical realities of the region, always committed to enhancing the best traditions of the territory. The vineyards are cultivated in a hilly area at over 300 meters above sea level on clay-limestone soils, rich in minerals. The Sangiovese of Predappio is a particular clone, present in the area for centuries, which gives the wines a distinct expressive territoriality. After the harvest, the grapes are vinified in red and the wine matures for 6 months in large oak barrels and finishes the aging period with 3 months in the bottle before being put on the market.

The “Tre Rocche” is a beautiful expression of pure Sangiovese, telling us how the hilly territory of the Predappio area has historically been suited for the production of rich, intense, and fruity red wines that enhance the best qualities of Sangiovese. The color is a rather intense ruby red. The olfactory profile is characterized by fruity aromas reminiscent of cherry, ripe red berry fruit, accompanied by delicate floral notes and hints of wood. On the palate, it has a good structure, with rich fruit, harmonious tannins, pleasantly fresh and balanced sip.
