Zanovello's Merlot 'Sassonero - Cà Lustra' is a red wine from the Euganean Hills, an area that lends character to wines with its shallow soils rich in calcareous red rock. Bordeaux vines have found fertile ground in these areas, among the most vocated in Italy for producing this style. On the nose, ripe and jammy flowers and red fruits are perceived, with balsamic and spicy hints on the finish. On the palate, it is dry, with a rich tannic texture and a long sip. Ideal with cold cuts and succulent meat dishes
