Sauvignon Blanc Ebner 2023

Ebner's Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine made from an international grape variety that has been present in the southern part of the Isarco Valley since the end of the 19th century. Over this time, it has adapted to poor soils, which allow for elegant results with a fresh and savoury character, thanks to the gravelly and marly terrain. In the vineyard, the Ebner winery carries out manual leaf removal and thinning to obtain grapes that are more concentrated in sugars and aromas. The nose reveals white mountain flowers typical of South Tyrol and white-fleshed fruit, with a slight vanilla finish. On the palate, the freshness is sharp, combined with a savoury note typical of these altitudes. Recommended with vegetarian starters and canederli in broth

Straw yellow with subtle greenish reflections

Scent

Opening with white flowers such as gooseberry and elderflower, followed by notes of white peach and a slight spicy hint of vanilla on the finish

Taste

A distinctly savoury profile accompanied by a vibrant freshness

Temperature
8°-10°C
When to open
To enjoy it at its best, we recommend you to let the wine 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving
When to drink
Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar
Glass
Medium open goblet
Perfect for young and medium bodied white wines which don't require excessive oxygenation to open. The opening, slightly tighter than the body of the glass, favors the concentration of aromas towards the nose, enhancing the perception of aromas and limiting the dispersion
Longevity
You can leave it to rest in the cellar for 3-4 years
