Nicolas Potel's Savigny-lès-Beaune is an intense red from the central part of Burgundy. Intense but vinified exclusively in steel, it is fine, elegant but also very smooth for a red of this calibre. The nose offers a delicate profile of cherry and currant with hints of violet and sweet spices on the finish. On the palate, it is elegant and fresh, with fine tannins. It pairs beautifully with white meats and semi-mature cheeses
